Unrefined Shea butter Yellow

We produce our yellow shea butter using the same traditional method, just like our Ivory or white shea butter production process. The addition of Borututu roots is what makes the difference between our white or Ivory shea butter and the yellow shea butter.

The introduction of borututu roots in the production process comes with additional benefits to the shea butter and also changes the colour of the Ivory or whitish shea butter to a light or deep yellow colour depending on the client’s choice. Borututu Root (cochlospermum angolensis) is a root rich in highly detoxifying and blood-purifying alternatives. It has a positive effect on blood fluidity, lowers cholesterol levels, and normalizes arterial tensions. The herb of borututu when used topically is effective for treating sores herps, and other skin problems.
